November 2019: Shop Update!
Hello all~! On Friday, November 22 we are going to have a major store update!
At the end of the year, we usually look at all of the pieces we've purchased and we all usually have the same problem: we have all these main pieces but no blouses! And with family gathering, meetups, and time with friends, that small problem ends up turning into a huge headache! So, this time of year is perfect for stocking up on basics!
While chiffon blouses give coordinates certain elegance and charm, they can be difficult to clean, and they can make the wearer very warm. Cotton blouses on the other hand are very easy to clean and by the nature of the fabric, let the skin breathe more. That being said, cotton blouses take a lot of time to iron or steam, whereas chiffon blouses are less likely to keep wrinkles in them.
When choosing a blouse for a coordinate, it is important to think about the overall look you are trying to achieve, but it is also important to consider your own comfort above all. Looking cute is just as important as being able to enjoy your clothing to its fullest!
It is the time to give and share! The longer you are in a community, the more likely you are to understand your companions' tastes and style. If you want to give your comm-mates something special, look to giving them some frilly basics!
A beautiful lush petticoat tied up with some ribbon is the perfect holiday surprise for any Lolita! Have you noticed your friend's wardrobe lacking in essentials? Grab them a pretty blouse in white or black! It suits most wardrobes and is easy to coordinate. Just be sure to get their measurements beforehand! Lastly, bloomers are a most quintessential part of Lolita fashion! Fleece, cotton, striped, pumpkin- there are so many ways to cover the bottom cutely! Now that the weather has dropped in the Northern Hemisphere, it's important to layer accordingly!
So, now that you have some ideas, check out that shop update on Friday, 22nd! We can't wait to see all of your hauls! Be sure to tag us on your social media @lolitacollective!
